Texas Hold’em Odds Calculator: Equity and Pot Odds
Use this Texas Hold’em odds calculator to see how often your hand wins. Pick your two cards, add the flop, turn or river if they are out, choose how many opponents you face and press Calculate. It is free and works in your browser.
How to use the poker equity calculator
- Click a card in the grid to fill your two hole cards.
- Optionally add three, four or five board cards. Click a filled slot to remove a card.
- Choose the number of opponents. Their hands are random.
- Press Calculate to see your equity, win and tie chances.
Equity vs win percentage
Win percentage counts only the times you win outright. Equity also counts split pots as a share, so it is the better measure of what your hand is worth. The result is an estimate from 20,000 random deals, so small differences between runs are normal.
Pot odds calculator: should you call?
Pot odds tell you how much equity you need to call. Divide the amount to call by the pot after your call. Example: the pot holds 90 chips, including your opponent’s bet, and you must call 30. You need 30 ÷ (90 + 30) = 25% equity to break even. If the calculator shows more than 25%, calling is profitable in the long run. Enter the pot and the bet in the helper above to try it.
